Reciprocal Flexibility
The flexibility per se is
one of pillars of companies, or should be, and it is more, given the present
situation that requires a quick and agile adaptation of the teams in the
current work scheme.
This quality is extensive to many areas,
starting with time; as in the workable hours, or the deadlines, following to
the communication channels; as videoconferences, or the contact through social
media, until the practice of tolerance and empathy, to understand that we have
learned to combine the personal life with work in a same space and time, the flexibility
is present and must be developed for the common good.
From the point of view of business strategy,
is essential that each of the parts of the organization practice the flexibility
constantly, to promote a coupling with more agility every time, being a commercial
advantage to perfectionate and develop over a long term.
Workplace flexibility in
the companies, is not jus a sample of maturity in terms of organizational culture,
but it´s also a value that results key for business continuity because it turns
reciprocal, it means, that if the own organization from top, teaches, promotes and
practices this skill, this will permeate in every collaborator creating an
appreciation conscience and generating a compromise, that at the end will
transmit as a support and comprehension to the organization itself at challenging
moments, taking root inside the values of their culture and becoming part of it
by naturalness.
